I begin by doing a thorough SEO audit and analysis of your current site, if you have one. I also do a competitor analysis to find out what we need to do to begin to outrank your online competition. I check your website’s architecture and internal linking structure, and analyze your current off-page optimization to see what site’s, if any are linking to you and what anchor text they’re using in their links. Then I do an exhaustive keyword research… I want to help you find out what people are searching for. I’ve found that all too often, the keywords that most website owners are targeting aren’t even the search terms that people are typing in! I help you identify the best keywords and phrases to target, including ‘long-tail’ keywords and other low competition phrases.

Armed with our new keyword list, I’ll move on to the on-page SEO optimization. This is where I will begin to write out a plan to incorporate your new keywords into your website’s content. I’ll re-write your page titles, meta tags, headings and optimize your content. The goal is to achieve high organic search results.

I’ll also put together a strategy to improve your off-page SEO. I’ll analyze your back-links and your competitor’s back-links. I’ll identify some quality, relevant linking opportunities and web directories. I’m not going to recommend that you submit your site to every web directory you can find. We want optimized listings with optimized anchor text in reputable, relevant directories.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg! There’s still social media marketing, reputation management, XML sitemap and robots.txt creation, local SEO, content creation, press release optimization and much more.

I put all of my findings and recommendations into a huge report that I will send to you in any format you’d like. You’ll be able to give this report to your web developer so that they can begin your on-page SEO work. I speak ‘web developer’ so they’ll have no trouble understanding what they need to do, and I’m always available by phone, email or instant messenger. If you don’t have a developer, no problem… I can do all of the coding for you as well. I charge an additional $500 for development work. (If your site is super small and/or there’s very little development work, I’ll cut that down to $250.)
