About Me

Dallas SEO Expert | Web Developer

I’m a Dallas area SEO Consultant and Web Developer, husband, proud daddy, dog lover, computer geek, information junkie and eternal student of all things ‘web’.

I took my first computer programming class in the 2nd grade. It was an extra-curricular class- I had to get to school an hour early- and the programming language was BASIC. I was fascinated by the way the lines of code and programming came together to form interactive programs. It was like magic to me. It still is!

I started playing with the internet before there was the World Wide Web or nice pretty browsers. It was pretty much all text based… not a big market for web design. I built my first website in Notepad. Pure HTML and UGLY!

I’m not an artist in the classical sense, so I took a 5 year vocational course in Graphic Arts. I learned the entire process from original idea, to design, to making plates, running presses, cutting, binding- the whole 9 yards. This is where I learned the principles of web design, that served. as the foundation of all of my web design work.

Now I think I’m pretty good at what I do and as a result, I have absolutely no problem admitting when I’m not! I’m NOT a very good web designer, so I’ve stopped trying. Instead, I work with a few hand-picked and very good designers. They design, I code, everyone’s happy.

In the search engine optimization and web development business the learning never stops! I subscribe to over 100 RSS feeds pertaining to search engine optimization (SEO), web design and web development, internet marketing and social media. I listen to about 5 SEO web design / web development podcasts a day. I’m constantly taking video courses to keep current with the ever changing face of search engine optimization and web design and web development technology and trends, so that I can provide my clients with cutting edge web development and SEO services.
